Pretty Sweet Gifts
Today is my birthday. Yesterday, my mom gave me a call and asked me to meet her at Colonial Photo and Hobby. I walked out with a Canon 7D. Absolutely incredible! So, I shot some footage of a really nice dinner/night with some great friends. There’s no question that I have a long way to go to use this thing properly, but I think things even got better from the first to the last shot last night. Here’s what I got. (I considered putting an audio track with it, then thought it would be more enjoyable to hear random snippets from our conversations.)

Then, just when I thought things couldn’t get better, I hear this little 30 second promo for next week’s This American Life… There’s nothing like hearing your voice sandwiched between two clips of Ira Glass.
